Water thief

Out our way a number of the smaller Federal, State and county campgrounds don’t have

hookups.  Not a problem as most of us love to boondock in these quiet, picturesque places.

There usually is, however, a fresh water spigot that is placed to serve a half dozen or more campsites.  These usually have smooth outlets- ie no threads.

The water thief is a rubber connector that slips over the smooth faucet outlet and secures on with a clamp.  It’s other end is a regular male hose end.

Not that we should hook up our RV for 24 hour “city water”, but that if you need to fill your fresh water tank, the thief allows you to do that.  There are other locations where similar smooth faucets can be used by the thief.

They only cost a few dollars and are very worthwhile.

Just make sure your wife tastes the water before you fill up.
