Counter shelf
In our original Aerbus, counter space was somewhat limited. Linda had me make a drop leaf shelf to extend off the counter next to the sink. It was a big help.
Our 2000 Aerbus came with such a shelf and again it has been a very useful feature.
While touring some of the new Rexhalls at our dealership, I noticed that a number of the new models no longer came with the drop leaf shelf. Since we would not be without ours, those without the shelf might want to consider adding one.
My first course would be to order one from the factory and either put it in myself or have my local RV technician do it.
A second choice would be to order one from Camping World, item 14092 for $35.
And if you haven't bought your new Rexhall yet, order it as an
option.

Thomas Mosher of Spokane, WA sent in a tip on a novel use of the drop leaf shelf in the FMCA magazine, Nov 05, page 30. A pair of their chairs had no table nearby to set snacks and beverages upon. So he took a drop leaf counter extender and mounted it on the wall, making the perfect table/shelf
