Power cord entry
To compliment his deck plate modification for water hose entry, Bob Bishop did essentially the same thing for his electrical cord. He cut a D shaped hole in the edge of his electrical compartment deck plate such that after removing the plate and threading out the electrical cord, the deck plate could be screwed back in and the hole is just the right size for the power cord. He also added a small central hole for TV cable access, sealed with a cork. He simply has another deck plate cover for travel and storage.

PS I ordered two deck plate covers from my local shop, and found that the covers did not fit the reciever. The threads were different.
