Window screens
We took a trip recently and during the enjoyment of the scenery, we made two observations that we had made on multiple prior occasions. The window screens on the driver and passenger’s windows interfere with the view, causing one to lean forward to find the clear glass. They also rattle some.
Linda offered one of her frequent epiphanies ( a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, commonplace occurrence or experience) : “Why don’t we just take them out?”
Her somewhat more rigid pilot asked, “Are we allowed to do that?”
What a big difference it makes.
“Why didn’t we ever think of this before?”
Obviously there will be times when they need to be reinserted. But it is very simple and easy. They store in the basement very nicely.
And a lot easier to open the window for talking to folks or backing up without the screen in the way.
Just in case you hadn’t thought you were allowed to do that.
