Cockpit Floor Protector
The 2003 September issue of Family Motor Coach Association Magazine had a tip by Lou Einung, who purchased a clear plastic office desk chair mat from an office supply store and cut it to size for his cockpit floor. I thought it was a great idea.

To protect the carpet around the driver's seat, I bought a rectangular rubber floor mat at an automotive parts store and cut it to fit around the seat pedestal and gas pedal.
These two great ideas make my custom piece of left over house carpet look pretty shabby.
